Boston Celtics vs Atlanta Hawks Preview
Jayson Tatum has looked like his usual elite self for the Celtics lately — but playing him on the second night of a back-to-back seems risky for Boston. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s ultimately ruled out for tonight's game against the Hawks.
The other key player to watch is Neemias Queta.
Tatum and Queta are two of Boston’s elite defenders — and the Celtics' defensive rating is notably lower when those two are off the floor. If both players are sidelined, I strongly lean toward the Over in this game.
The Hawks have all of their weapons back and healthy, which should push the pace of the game.
While Boston is generally a strong "Under" team, the potential absence of the Celtics' primary rim protector in Queta and their best wing defender in Tatum changes the math significantly.
