Cubs vs Rays HR Prop
The matchup and ballpark are below average, but these odds more than make up for it.
Junio Caminero is one of the best HR hitters in the league and should end up around 40 bombs if he stays healthy.
Opposing pitcher Javier Assad grades out as a below-average matchup for HRs and should be around a 10-15% decrease for righty power.
But even in a tough spot, I have the true odds here around +350, making this a great bet.
Pick: Junior Caminero Home Run (+400)
Astros vs Rockies HR Prop
I don't love the lefty/lefty matchup, but Kyle Freeland is well past his prime and grades out as a plus matchup for lefty power.
This ballpark is one of the best in the league for power, and Yordan Alvarez has been on an absolute tear to start the season.
I don't generally look into hitter splits, but Yordan is one of the best lefty/lefty hitters in league history.
I have the true odds here under +300, making this a great bet.
Pick: Yordan Alvarez Home Run (+310)
Braves vs Angels HR Prop
This is one of the few games today that actually has average weather, and the Braves get to face an absolute gas can going up against Yusei Kikuchi.
Kikuchi has been one of the best matchups for power during his career, allowing a high 1.60 HR/9 to righties.
Austin Riley isn't the same HR hitter he used to be, but he's priced like he's in a neutral matchup, despite it being an above-average one.
I have the true odds here around +350, making this a great bet.
