Role players at home! I'm seeing value here. Sheppard is back playing key rotation minutes after suffering a left calf strain on December 3rd that missed him 12 games. While not a lock to start, there's always the upside we can get ahead, and he does, especially with Bennedict Mathurin out, and the fact that he closed over Jonny Furphy in meaningful minutes vs. ORL last game.
With the Pacers in the midst of a losing skid, we've seen players come in and out of the rotation like Garrison Matthews, Jeramiah Robinson-Earl, and Cody Martin all no longer on the roster. Carlisle has even lost trust in Ethan Thompson, and is barely seeing double digit minutes these days. Tonight, I'm expecting Sheppard to play 20-25 minutes. As a 37.3% shooter, he averages 7.7 PTS in games shooting > 25% but less than 75% with Siakam, Nembhard and clears in 14 of 19. #PlayerProps
