On Tuesday, April 22, one game I'll be focusing on comes in Cleveland, where Paul Goldschmidt, Will Warren and the Yankees will be taking on the Guardians.

Bryce Miller and Brent Rooker are two other players that I'll be targeting in the MLB player props market on Tuesday.

Let's dive into my MLB player prop picks for Tuesday, April 22.

The Yankees entered the offseason looking to get more production at first base, and they ended up signing Goldschmidt to a one-year deal.

While Goldschmidt hasn't yet flashed his typical power, he's been on base constantly. Goldschmidt enters Tuesday hitting .361, which ranks second in MLB in batting average behind teammate Aaron Judge. He's recorded a hit in 15 of his last 17 games.

Looking at the way Goldschmidt has been getting his hits is where we find betting value. Of his 32 hits this season, just six have gone for extra bases. That means 81% of his hits this season have been singles, and he's had at least one single in six straight games and 14 of his last 17.

Goldschmidt will face Tanner Bibee on Tuesday, who enters with a 5.85 ERA. Goldschmidt is 0-for-3 against Bibee so far, but he's hitting well against right-handed pitchers.

He entered last night's game without a hit in three at-bats against Gavin Williams before singling en route to a multi-hit outing.

If Goldschmidt finds the hit column again on Tuesday, it'll likely be via a single.

Yankees vs Guardians & Mariners vs Red Sox Player Props: Fading Warren & Backing Miller’s Walks

Opposing Bibee tonight will be right-hander Warren, and that may not be great news for the Yankees. Warren enters this start with a 5.17 ERA and 1.40 WHIP.

The Yankees are 2-2 in his starts thus far, but he's recorded just one decision (1-0).

One key for this prop is that Warren hasn't worked deep into games yet in his young career.

He's pitched five full innings in two of his first four starts this season. He's worked into the sixth inning in just one of his first nine career starts. Warren doesn't have an outs recorded line on Tuesday after pitching just 1 2/3 innings in his last start.

The Guardians are also a slight home favorite (-110) and if they win the game outright, obviously that would mean Warren didn't get the win. Warren is -330 not to record a win on Tuesday, so I'm pairing him with Miller, pitcher of the Seattle Mariners, to almost get plus odds.

Miller is off to a solid start, with a 3.43 ERA through four starts. However, he has a 1.33 WHIP due to 10 walks in 21 innings. Miller has worked five innings in all four starts and issued two walks or more in all of them.

Dating back to last season, he's walked two batters in eight of his last nine starts. He also has walked two batters in both of his starts against the Red Sox, with four in 11 2/3 innings against them.

Miller walking two batters has been a given of late, cashing at nearly a 90% clip.

If Warren gets another no-decision or takes his first loss of the season, this combo will cash.

Rangers vs Athletics Player Props: Rooker Set to Mash Against Corbin

With two early games here, we end the night doing one of my favorite things on a baseball slate: fading Patrick Corbin, who'll be facing the Athletics.

Rooker is one Athletics hitter that I expect to take advantage. After hitting .293 with 39 home runs last season, Rooker enters play hitting just .234 thus far.

However, he's already mashed six home runs.

Two of those homers have come against left-handed pitchers. With two doubles as well, four of Rooker's five hits against left-handed pitchers have gone for extra bases, and he's slashing .294/.333/.765 against lefties thus far this season.

He's yet to face Corbin, but this matchup should be in his favor. Over the last three years, right-handed hitters have hit over .300 against Corbin, with 90 doubles, 11 triples and 76 home runs.

Rooker has homered in two of his last four games, and he's +230 to leave the yard on DraftKings on Tuesday. However, he's recorded a hit in eight of his last 10 games, recording two total bases in six of them.

He's also cleared this line in seven of his last eight games against the Rangers, so if he doesn't get to Corbin, he may double off a Rangers' reliever.
