The Action Network's MLB PRO betting tools include prop projections and edges for all games and many popular bet types, like strikeouts, home runs, RBIs and hits.
Not only can a day's top edges be wagered on as straight bets, but they can also be combined to create MLB parlays.
After scanning PRO projections for Wednesday's biggest prop-betting edges, I created a simple two-leg MLB same game parlay, but with beefy +750 odds (via DraftKings), for Rockies vs Athletics.
Here's where the data (and edges) have led me.
Rockies vs Athletics MLB Parlay: +750 SGP Picks (5/22)
*Odds and projections as of Wednesday morning
SGP Leg 1: Zack Gelof Over 0.5 RBIs (+240)
- Current line: 0.5 RBIs
- PRO projection: 0.54 RBIs
Not only does the Action Network's PRO projection come in above the over/under of 0.5 RBIs, but it's the big that provides the edge for this bet.
Based on our data, this prop sits at essentially a coin flip, but taking the over provides +240 odds as the first leg of our same game parlay.
SGP Leg 2: J.D. Davis Over 0.5 RBIs (+200)
- Current line: 0.5 RBIs
- PRO projection: 0.57 RBIs
The second leg is very similar to the first.
Our PRO Projections already have an edge on the over (0.57 projected RBIs vs. an over/under of 0.5 RBIs) and the big plus-money makes it even more enticing.
It's important to note that player prop odds can adjust significantly throughout the day, so be sure to shop for the best same game parlay prices across all of your available sportsbooks to ensure you're not leaving any potential profit on the table.
