After getting swept by the Dodgers last week, the Nationals took it out on the Marlins, sweeping a four-game set in Miami. They have now gotten back to .500 as they head to Texas to take on the defending World Series champion Rangers.

CJ Abrams will look to get the offense going out of the leadoff spot.

The Angels, meanwhile, took Game 1 from the Phillies last night. Tonight, they'll hand the ball to a resurgent Tyler Anderson tonight. However, Alec Bohm might find a way to take advantage of the matchup.

Abrams has been a highly-touted prospect ever since he was taken sixth overall in the 2019 MLB Draft. While he posted just a .712 OPS last season, he showed flashes with 18 home runs and 47 stolen bases.

If the first month of his season is any indication, his breakout may have staying power.

Abrams enters play today hitting .297 with seven home runs, 18 runs batted and a .1.011 OPS. He comes into tonight's game with a five-game hitting streak and has also hit safely in nine of his last 10 games and 21 of his 25 games this season.

When Abrams gets on base, he has usually found a way to come and score. He has scored a run in 15-of-25 games this season, and more recently, eight of his last 10 games.

Last night, Abrams drove himself in with a home run, and he's +450 at FanDuel to hit another tonight. That also extended his RBI streak to three.

Speaking of threes, Abrams has hit this line in two of his three games against the Rangers last season.

Jon Gray didn't pitch in that series and is off to a strong start this season. However, he has had a lot of traffic on the basepaths and boasts a 1.46 WHIP on the season. He's also allowing left-handed hitters to hit .302 and post an OPS of .947.

That bodes well for Abrams, who I expect to be on base tonight. He has hit this line in five straight, nine of his last 10, and 19 of his 25 games this season. That means we're getting great value here — even at -155.

Pick: CJ Abrams Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-155)

Alec Bohm

Over 1.5 Total Bases

A few weeks ago, we backed Alec Bohm, and he cleared his HRR combo by hitting his first home run of the season.

At the time, he was hitting just .238 to begin the year. From that game on, though, Bohm is hitting .446 with 10 doubles, four home runs, 22 runs batted in and a 1.285 OPS.

Now, he's second in MLB with a .364 batting average.

Anderson, Los Angeles' starter, will be looking to cool him off, and he's been dangerous with a 1.78 ERA through his first five starts. He has allowed only 19 hits this season, but three of those have been doubles, and two have been home runs to right-handed hitters.

Bohm is hitting .371 with four doubles, two home runs and a 1.107 OPS against left-handed pitchers. He's also 2-for-5 lifetime against Anderson with a triple and a home run.

Bohm enters tonight's game on a 13-game hitting streak. While a first-inning double would be great, Bohm has also recorded two hits in eight of his last 11 games. In that span, Bohm is averaging 3.18 total bases per game and had four total bases in seven of them.

You can back Bohm to record four total bases at +330 at DraftKings tonight. Although, we can still cash at plus-money if he racks up two tonight.

Pick: Alec Bohm Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
