Aaron Civale & Clayton Kershaw

Rays vs. Giants (3:45 p.m. ET) · Brewers vs. Dodgers (10:10 p.m. ET)

Our first choice for today’s custom NRFI revolves around the Dodgers' seasoned veteran Clayton Kershaw.

This season Kershaw has displayed a 13-4 record in the NRFI category with an impressive 6-1 NRFI record on the road.

Consequently, Kershaw's overall NRFI tally at home since 2022 has reached a remarkable 17-1.

When facing batters for the first time through the order this season, Kershaw has yielded a mere .215 average, allowing only 31 hits across 144 at-bats.

Reflecting on past encounters, Kershaw has effectively held his ground against the Brewers' hitters. Brian Anderson (1-for-13), Willy Adames (1-for-10), Carlos Santana (0-for-5) and Christian Yelich (9-for-29) are all noteworthy examples of his dominance.

Also, to Kershaw's advantage, the Brewers are one of the worst first-inning teams as of late and own only a .118 batting average.

Our second custom NRFI selection features the newly acquired pitcher for the Rays, Aaron Civale.

This season Civale has proven nearly flawless with a 15-1 NRFI record complemented by an impressive 7-1 road NRFI split.

These records bring Civale's total NRFI triumphs to 29-7 since 2022.

In encounters when he faces batters for the first time through the batting order, Civale has exhibited significant efficiency, allowing a mere .176 average across 119 at-bats.

Among Civale's notable matchups today, Joc Pederson (1-for-4), J.D. Davis (0-for-2) and Thairo Estrada (1-for-2) stand out.

An additional point of interest is that Wilmer Flores – projected to bat second today – finds himself in a significant slump while managing just two hits in his last 16 at-bats for a .125 average.

This custom NRFI selection is -151 on DraftKings.
