Oneil Cruz Home Run (+400)
vs. White Sox (SP: RHP Aaron Civale)
White Sox right-hander Aaron Civale has been absolutely crushed by left-handed power hitters this season, giving up 1.73 HR/9.
The weather should be good for hitting in Pittsburgh, with wind blowing out, good heat, and good humidity.
The Pirates' Oneil Cruz has a ton of pop but struggles with strikeouts and ground balls, both of which shouldn't be a problem against Civale.
I have the true odds here around +325, making this a great bet.
James Wood Home Run (+500)
vs. Padres (SP: RHP Nick Pivetta)
These odds are far too high for the Nationals' James Wood given the spot.
Padres right-hander Nick Pivetta hasn't allowed a ton of bombs to lefties this season, but he's due for some pretty massive negative regression, with a 46% fly-ball rate and a career 1.43 HR/9.
The weather should be great for hitting, with temps near 90 degrees during game time and wind blowing out to right field.
I have the true odds here more than 100 points lower.
