MLB home run props proved to be a lucrative venture on Monday, as I hit two picks in the Padres vs. Athletics game, courtesy of Fernando Tatis Jr. and Tyler Soderstrom.
I'm going back to the Padres-A's well on Tuesday, with more home run picks for that game as there continues to be HR value for games at Sutter Health Park. I'll also be touching on Angels vs Rays, as I see value on Jorge Soler, and Orioles vs Diamondbacks.
Continue below for my Tuesday MLB home run picks on April 8.

Home Run Picks for April 7
Jorge Soler (+500; FanDuel)
The matchup here isn't anything special, but the price here is too good to pass up.
Rays starter Shane Baz is around an average pitcher when it comes to allowing righty power, but the Rays' ballpark is a great one for power and the weather in Tampa isn't bad today.
Soler should be in for a bounce-back season this year after playing the majority of last season in a rough ballpark. I have the true odds on Soler just above +400.
Logan O'Hoppe (+540; FanDuel)
O'Hoppe is a good power bat and the odds don't reflect his recent play or the ballpark he's in today.
He is off to a fantastic start to the season, hitting five HRs in the first seven games. Given O'Hoppe's recent form and ballpark upgrade, the true odds on this bet are around +470.
Gunnar Henderson (+450; bet365)
Henderson is in a great spot today and the odds really don't reflect it.
He's playing in a dome at Chase Field today, so we don't have to worry about the weather and the matchup vs. Merrill Kelly is a solid one.
Kelly has been right around league average at giving up bombs over the last few years, but he's getting up there in age and has been more susceptible to lefty power. He's given up three bombs already in two starts and I think he's in for some more regression this season.
Henderson is coming off a massive season with 37 HRs and should be in for another big year. I have the true odds on Henderson around +380.
Fernando Tatis Jr. (+470; FanDuel)
I'm going back to the well here on Tatis — for some reason, we are getting even better odds on him today.
