MLB Home Run Picks for August 15

Pete Alonso (+400)

vs Mariners (SP: RHP Luis Castillo)

This is strictly a price play on Pete Alonso. The matchup is a slightly below-average matchup for homers, but Alonso has been on a tear recently and is far too good of a hitter to be priced this high. I have the true odds on Alonso at around +325 today, which makes this a great EV bet.

Cal Raleigh (+270)

at Mets (SP: LHP Sean Manaea)

The Mariners righties are in a good spot today and are priced too high. Sean Manaea isn't a bad pitcher, but he's allowing a 1.61 HR/9 to righties this season and has been an above-average matchup for righty power in his career. Cal Raleigh is one of the best home run hitters in the league and there's no way he should be priced like this in a plus matchup.

Julio Rodriguez (+400)

at Mets (SP: LHP Sean Manaea)

Header Trailing Logo

Julio Rodriguez has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the past month and I have the true odds of him homering today at around +325, which makes this a great EV bet.

Shea Langeliers (+290)

vs Angels (SP: LHP Yusei Kikuchi)

Header Trailing Logo

I'm going hard on the A's righty power bats today. Yusei Kikuchi has been better at suppressing power this season, but is still allowing above-average homers to righties this year with 1.33 HR/9. He also still owns a career 1.6 HR/9. Additionally, this ballpark is one of the best in baseball for hitting and the weather is great today with temperatues around 90 and wind blowing out at 8 mph. Shea Langeliers has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball this month and I have the true odds of him homering at around +230, making this a great EV bet.
