Tony Sartori's Reds vs Yankees Best Bet
By Tony Sartori
It is a favorable opportunity for Yankees starter Elmer Rodriguez to build on that success following his most recent call-up, given Cincinnati’s offensive struggles. Over their past 10 games, the Reds own a .707 OPS.
Of course, the biggest obstacle to the under is the Yankees’ powerful lineup.
That said, Reds SP Chase Burns has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season and has allowed two or fewer runs in each of his past 11 starts.
Pick: Under 8.5 (-115 or Better)
Justin Van Zuiden's Padres vs Rangers ML Pick
Rangers starter Nathan Eovaldi looks to be all clear after being scratched yesterday due to knee soreness, and he should have no issues navigating this Padres lineup that has been terrible against RHP this season, ranking near the bottom of the league in most offensive categories.
For the Padres, Lucas Giolito has been one of the worst pitchers in the league and offers little appeal.
While the Texas offense isn't great in its own right, they are at home with a big pitching edge, and the Padres' three best relievers (Adrian Morejon, Jason Adam, and Mason Miller) all threw 20+ pitches yesterday.
I love the Rangers under these circumstances.
Pick: Rangers ML (-156)
Doug Ziefel's Twins vs Diamondbacks Over/Under Prediction
By Doug Ziefel
There is quite a bit of uncertainty in this matchup, given Jose Cabrera's debut and Mike Paredes's small sample size. However, that can work to our advantage and amplify what we do know.
The Diamondbacks' lineup is in the midst of a downward spiral, while the Twins are likely going to be wishing they saved some runs from last night.
Take the under.
Pick: Under 9.5 (-122)
Derek Carty's Orioles vs Dodgers Prop
By Derek Carty
There may be some value in Emmet Sheehan's hits allowed prop.
THE BAT X is projecting the Dodgers starter to record 3.85 hits against the Orioles, and oddsmakers are implying 4.70.
The model believes there is a 72% chance he records fewer than five hits allowed. If you can get the under at -118 or better, there is great value here. This play is good down to at least -155.

Pick: Emmet Sheehan Under 4.5 Hits Allowed (-134)
Frank Ammirante's Mets vs Phillies Best Bet
Zack Wheeler has been great, but his 3.38 SIERA is much higher than his 2.01 ERA, so we're likely to see some regression soon for the Phillies ace.
Wheeler's strikeout rate has gone from 33.3% to 26.3%, his Stuff+ has fallen from 111 to 106, and his .207 BABIP is a career-low, despite a 36.3% hard-hit rate, which is the second-highest of his career.
Meanwhile, the Mets' offense has shown improvement of late. In the last 14 days, they have a 113 wRC+, which ranks 13th in MLB. If we dig further under the hood, we see that they're generating a lot of hard contact during that stretch, including a .327 xwOBA, which ranks 6th in MLB.
I like that we're getting plus money on a low bar of 3.5 runs, especially with 81-degree temperatures at a hitter-friendly environment like Citizens Bank Park, per Action App.
With that in mind, we'll ride with the Mets to go Over 3.5 runs in this spot.
