Entering this matchup, the right-hander ranks in the top quarter of the league in xERA, walk rate and hard-hit rate. With two elite pitchers and a lackluster Cleveland offense, another low-scoring affair is likely between these two teams.

Sean Paul's Dodgers vs Mets Best Bet: Dodgers -1.5

I'll take the Dodgers -1.5 here at +102. The Mets are one of the worst teams in the league — and that was with Soto, who is one of the great hitters in baseball. Without him, you can downgrade this Mets lineup, and Sheehan could thrive against a team that lacks home run power.
I also view this as a poor matchup for Peralta. The Dodgers rarely chase and will make Peralta stay in the strike zone.

Doug Ziefel's Angels vs Giants Best Bet: Over 7.5

At first glance, this is not a game where many would expect scoring. Jose Soriano on the mound in one of the worst hitters' ballparks is not what you look for.
Although a closer look shows that both starters are more than capable of getting knocked around this afternoon against lineups that have proven to be capable in the right matchup, which is what they'll have in front of them.
