Leg 1: Chase Burns Over 5.5 Strikeouts
I'm banking on a pitcher's duel for Monday's matchup.
Former second overall pick, Chase Burns, will start for the Reds.
In his debut, he struck out eight against a strong Yankees lineup.
His ERA is high, but I believe his start at the hitter-friendly Yankee Stadium will be an outlier.
While Fenway can still be hitter-friendly, the Red Sox lineup is much weaker compared to New York’s.
I’m expecting Burns to continue piling up strikeouts and dominate on Monday.
Leg 2: Garrett Crochet Over 8.5 Strikeouts
Garrett Crochet will start for the Red Sox. He's challenging Tarik Skubal for the AL Cy Young.
He’s coming off a 10-strikeout gem against the Angels, where he looked completely unhittable.
The Reds have consistently struggled against left-handed pitching, so Crochet should continue his dominance.
