World Cup odds reach the finish line with Sunday’s championship match, capping a record-setting tournament for sportsbooks across the nation.
Spain vs. Argentina odds are generating strong action, much of it behind Argentina’s storylines of fantastic finishes and Lionel Messi’s likely final World Cup. But the Spanish side is strong as well and certainly getting attention as the favorite in East Rutherford, N.J.

Underdog Argentina is taking 49% of bets/59% of money. Spain is at 32% of bets/33% of money, and the Draw is at 19% of bets/8% of money.
Spain vs. Argentina odds in To Lift The Trophy at DK are at Spain -160/Argentina +135, after opening at Spain -164/Argentina +134. Worth noting, though, is that on Saturday, Spain was -150 to Argentina’s +130.
So this morning, Spain is strengthening as a favorite in the To Lift The Trophy market. That said, Argentina is landing 57% of bets/58% of money.
The total is at 2.5 (Under -160), after opening at 2.5 (Under -145). Still, the public wants scoring, per usual, with tickets and money running at roughly 3/1 on the Over.
At a minimum, DraftKings is hoping for a far-lower-scoring match than Saturday's third-place contest, a 6-4 England victory over France. Specifically, DK would like Argentina's Lionel Messi and Spain's Lamine Yamal shut down.
