The Minnesota Lynx face off against the Atlanta Dream on Thursday night in what should be a competitive matchup between two contenders.
The Lynx may finally be able to welcome back the MVP favorite, Napheesa Collier, after she’s missed nearly all of August with an ankle injury. The Lynx have such a big lead in the standings and are 6.5 games ahead of both the Liberty and the Dream that they’ve been able to afford giving Collier as much time as she needs to rest and recover. There is zero reason to bring her back before she is 100%, and that’s why I think she will hit the ground running.
