The Connecticut Sun forced a Game 5 with a 92-82 win over the Minnesota Lynx.
The Sun now have a shot at reaching their fifth WNBA Finals in franchise history, as well as their third since 2019.
But as it stands, they're still in search for their first title, and would be heavy underdogs in achieving that, even if they were to upset the Lynx and this spot — and yes, technically, it would still be an upset.

Why The Connecticut Sun Can Cover In Game 5
As mentioned in the Lynx preview, Game 5 was a game of overs as it pertains to team total. We got higher scores in Connecticut than in Minnesota as we still attempt to discover which is a more legitimate representation of this back and forth series.
The Sun won 92-82 and got overs in every quarter but the first, and also — while allowing a Lynx total team over — held them under in the second half.
This series tilted over in CT but under in Minnesota.
And player prop wise, the Sun saw some progression after a dud Game 3.
In Game 4, the Sun slid Tyasha Harris back into the starting lineup and had Marina Mabrey back as the first woman off the bench. It worked out — Harris led the Sun with 20 points on 7 for 11 shooting and hit 4 of 5 from deep.
DeWanna Bonner went over her 14.5 prop we outlined last timeout and finished with 18 on 8 for 12 shooting. Alyssa Thomas went back over her PRA prop, which she has now done in five of six playoff games, ending the night with 18-8-11, totaling a PRA of 37. And DiJonai Carrington added 15 on 6 for 10.
All four Sun players went over, and the team shot 8 for 15 from three. They're undefeated in the playoffs when shooting at least 40 percent from three and winless when they don't.
Sun vs. Lynx: Thomas' Props Are Where It's At
Betting Pick & Prediction
I'm going back to Alyssa Thomas PRA, and that's over 32.5. Thomas has cleared this in five of six playoff games, accumulating at least 35 PRA in all of them. The one miss was a 29 from the Game 3 loss. She might not come off the floor and tends to be more aggressive as a scorer in these atmospheres. AT has played all 40 minutes twice in the post-season, and has played at least 36 minutes in every game. She is also at 16.2 points per game on 14 shots per contest, way higher than her 10.6 points on over eight shot attempts during the regular season.
Pick: Alyssa Thomas over 32.5 PRA
