I’ll be riding with the under 6.5 in this matchup. Both teams are much better defensively than their early-season numbers suggest. The Hurricanes currently rank 17th in goals allowed per game (3.11), while the Islanders sit 20th at 3.56. Those figures should normalize as the season progresses, especially given the defensive structure of both clubs.
With two disciplined teams and a slower pace expected, this game sets up nicely for the under tonight.
