The Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) and Indianapolis Colts (1-2) face off in NFL Week 4 on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis live on CBS. The game can be streamed on platforms like Paramount+ and YouTube TV.

The Steelers are consensus 2.5-point favorites on the spread, while the game total is set at 40 points. The line has moved from Colts -1.5 across zero to Steelers -1.5 from open, while the total is down from 44.5. Pittsburgh is -130 on the moneyline, while Indianapolis is +110 to pull off the upset.

Justin Fields has kept the Steelers offense on track through three games, but T.J. Watt and the defense are why they're 3-0. The Steelers have allowed just 26 total points so far this season. Indianapolis is coming off its first win of the season over the Bears, but there are still concerns about Anthony Richardson's consistency throwing the ball.

Let's get into my Steelers vs. Colts prediction and my NFL picks and predictions for Week 4.

NFL Week 4 Preview

The Steelers enter this game running hot at 3-0, but they’ve been one of the luckier teams in the NFL this season. According to our Action Network Luck Rankings, the Steelers have been the third-luckiest team in the NFL this season, while Indianapolis comes in at 31st.

Pittsburgh’s offense comes into this game with a couple of banged-up running backs. Justin Fields as a road favorite isn’t great to start, but both Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren look like they’ll be less than 100% this week.

That’s especially important considering how the Steelers have tried to win games this season. Pittsburgh wants it to be low-scoring with its incredible defense, and the offense does it part by running the ball and keeping the clock moving. They were even using Cordarrelle Patterson at running back last week!

Josh Downs being healthy is a big boost for the Colts offense because he won’t have to look down the field as much. Richardson was looking for big plays too often and needs to get some higher-percentage completions mixed in more often. A more healthy receiving corps will do the trick.

The Steelers defense suffered a blow in its efforts to defend Richardson. Linebacker Alex Highsmith is going to be out for a couple of weeks, which means the Colts may have an easier time running the ball this week.

I think the market is buying in a little too much on this Steelers team.

Pittsburgh played Kirk Cousins in his first start after an Achilles tear, Bo Nix and a hobbled Justin Herbert before he got hurt. Richardson has his flaws, but he’ll present a tougher challenge than those matchups.

The trends say the Colts are the pick here, too. As a road favorite against a team with a losing record under head coach Mike Tomlin, the Steelers are just 10-23 against the spread.

This is the perfect spot to buy Indianapolis and sell the Steelers.

Pick: Colts +2.5
