This article contains predictions for an old game.

The Indianapolis Colts (4-6) and New York Jets (3-7) will face off in NFL Week 11 (1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.). The game will be live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+, YouTube TV and other streaming platforms.

The Jets are favored by 4 points over the Colts (Jets -4) with the game total set at 43.5. The Jets are -205 moneyline favorites to win outright, while the Jets are +170 to pull off the upset.

The Colts lost their third straight game last week when they fell 30-20 to the Bills. Joe Flacco struggled for a second straight week and has been benched in favor of Anthony Richardson. The Jets lost 31-6 to the Cardinals, their sixth loss in seven games, after gaining only 207 yards of offense in the blowout loss.

Let's get into my Colts vs. Jets predictions and NFL picks.

Colts vs. Jets Expert Picks

Spread

The Jets are not a team I'm interested in betting on right now. New York has lost six of its last seven games, and the acquisition of Davante Adams has not gotten it going as the front office would've hoped.

The Jets were blown out by 25 points last week and shouldn't be favored against anyone. I'll take the points with the Colts this week.

Moneyline

I'll take the points with Indianapolis instead of betting its moneyline.

Over/Under

I'll pass on this game's total and focus my bet on the Colts.

My Pick: Colts +4 (-110)

Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Jets Preview

The Jets are in disarray, and the Colts are going back to Anthony Richardson after the Joe Flacco experiment failed. A couple of things stand out and lead me to taking the points with Indianapolis.

The Colts defense struggled last week but forced Josh Allen into two interceptions and kept him out of the end zone through the air. Indianapolis’ defense is getting healthier and showed some promise.

Now, this is a good matchup for this unit. The Colts play zone at a top-five rate in the NFL, and this Jets offense has struggled mightily against zone.

Aaron Rodgers has tended to go underneath coverage a lot this season, taking the easy throw. New York is 18th in yards per attempt against man coverage but 27th against zone. The Jets’ passing metrics are worse across the board against zone compared to man.

The Jets offense is banged up, too, with wide receiver Allen Lazard out and left tackle Tyron Smith looking like he’ll be out again with a neck injury. Also, Davante Adams has been inefficient since being acquired by the Jets.

The concern for the Jets defense facing the Colts will be how it can defend the run. The Jets rank 27th against the run and were outmatched physically last week against the Cardinals. This Colts offense could do the same thing.

This Colts offensive line is still stout, and Jonathan Taylor has been very good this season. Also, Richardson at quarterback adds a different dynamic to the Colts run game with his duel-threat ability.

Richardson may be inefficient in the passing game, but the guy covers the spread. He’s 7-3 against the spread in his career and is 4-1 in his starts this season.

This Jets team doesn’t deserve to be favored by a field goal against anyone. I’ll take the points with the Colts.

My Pick: Colts +4 (-110)
