Cowboys vs Raiders Against the Spread Prediction

Despite being relatively healthy, the wheels seem to have fallen off the Cowboys.
They were buyers at the trade deadline despite their (at the time) 3-4-1 record, which made their 10-point loss to a Cardinals team playing with a backup QB sting even more.
The Cowboys' three wins have all aged extremely poorly, coming against both New York teams and the Commanders, but Washington lost Jayden Daniels partway through the game.
Now the Cowboys get to face another bad opponent in the Raiders, who are 2-7. However, unlike the Cowboys, they’ve at least been competitive in recent weeks. Their last two losses came by a combined four points, compared to the 30-point combined deficit for Dallas.
All this makes the 3.5-point spread especially interesting as Vegas has been able to cover that number in consecutive games against much better teams than Dallas. The Raiders should be able to do that again, especially at home, so I’ll take Vegas and the points.

Cowboys vs Raiders Over/Under Prediction
Games involving the Cowboys have averaged 60 points per game this season, but coming off their bye week — and with two new additions to the defensive front seven — lead me to believe their best performances lie ahead.
Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson should help shore up a rushing defense that has a good chance of limiting Ashton Jeanty’s success on the ground.
Jeanty has averaged fewer than four yards per carry in every game since Week 5. This is important because if there is one thing the defense of Dallas has down this season, it is getting pressure on the quarterback. The Cowboys rank ninth in pressure rate.
Geno Smith has struggled mightily when under duress this season and the Cowboys can put him into several third downs and long situations.
Oddsmakers are baiting the casual bettor here by posting this total lower than the key number of 51. The Cowboys defense will allow the offense to stay more balanced as well, and those runs will only keep the clock churning faster.
I’d play this under up to 50.5 points.

Ashton Jeanty Player Props: Rushing Yards

Ashton Jeanty is the clear lead back for the Raiders, averaging 15.9 carries per game on the season.
He is averaging just 3.8 yards per carry, which obviously isn't great, but he has faced some of the toughest run defenses in football. That list includes New England (fewest rushing yards per game allowed to running backs), Jacksonville (3rd fewest), Kansas City (7th fewest), Indianapolis (8th fewest) and Denver (9th fewest), among other top-half teams.
On the season, Jeanty is averaging 60.8 rushing yards per game, which is above this line despite the gauntlet he has faced.
In his three games against teams in the bottom 12 of rushing yards allowed per game to running backs (Washington, Chicago, Tennessee), he has rushed for 63, 138, and 75 yards.
The Cowboys have been one of the worst teams against the run this season, allowing at least 119 rushing yards in seven of their nine games and allowing an average of 110.3 rushing yards per game to running backs (7th worst).

George Pickens Anytime TD Prop

I absolutely love George Pickens in this spot tonight against a Cowboys defense that utilizes a ton of zone defense.
Usually running backs and tight ends feast against zone, but Pickens has been on another level this season. He has still touchdowns entering Monday Night Football and five of them have come against zone — that's tied for the NFL lead with Emeka Egbuka, according to PFF. Pickens is also sixth in yardage against zone as well entering Week 11.
I love Pickens in this spot against a Raiders defense that plays zone at a top-five rate.

Tre Tucker Anytime Touchdown Pick
Tre Tucker hasn't had a breakout game since going off for 145 yards and three touchdowns against the Commanders in September — but these odds are a little too good to pass up.
Tucker is the WR1 in this Raiders offense after Jakobi Meyers got traded, and this spot is great. The game total is high and the spread is sitting at 3.5 points, so it should be a close game.
The Cowboys have allowed the most touchdowns to wide receivers this season; I have true odds for a Tucker TD under +200.
