Bruins 2025 Schedule & Betting Odds
UCLA Bruins Football 2025
The UCLA Bruins will enter the 2025 season with a new quarterback at the helm, with Nico Iamaleva transferring in from Tennessee. Iamaleva notably has an 11-3 record as a starting QB, and certainly gives Bruins fans something new to look forward to. DeShaun Foster took over as head coach in 2024, and his first season was certainly a mixed bag, as the Bruins finished with a 5-7 record.
Our college football power ratings have UCLA at No. 43 in the country, but the Bruins are slated to have one of the toughest schedules in all of college football. Change will be the defining characteristic for UCLA in 2025. With a new quarterback in place, we will see if the team's passing offense improves. The key, though, is that the team's rushing needs to be better, as they finished 132nd nationally in that category in 2024.
Here's how you can bet on UCLA this season, and some key things to know.
Betting on the UCLA Bruins
UCLA Point Spreads
Point spreads are a popular bet one can make on either team in a college football game and are based on the margin of victory for the winning team.
A Bruins spread might look like this:
- UCLA +3.5 (-110)
- USC -3 .5 (-110)
A 31-28 loss for UCLA is still a win for spread bettors since the three-point margin of defeat is less than the 3.5-point spread. Spread tickets on the Bruins would cash with any loss of three or fewer points, or an outright win.

UCLA Over/Unders
With UCLA's struggles offensively in 2024, it makes sense to like any available options for UCLA Unders. However, with a new-look offense and a fresh quarterback, UCLA overs could be in play in 2025.
Over/unders, or totals, are bets on the number of points scored in the game. The Bruins' game against Oregon could have a total score set at 45 points. If the game finishes 34-41 in the Bruins' favor, the under bettors still win the bet. The outcome of the game itself does not matter for the bet.

UCLA Moneylines
While spread bets depend on the amount of the victory, moneyline bets are a bit simpler, as all that matters is which team wins. Let's look at an example:
- UCLA -160
- UNLV +180
The minus (-) and plus (+) signs distinguish the favorite from the underdog, making UCLA the favorite in this scenario. Odds can be understood more clearly if you think in terms of $100 increments. A wager on the Bruins odds would mean every $160 bet nets $100. And it's the opposite for underdogs: Here, the Colorado moneyline was set at +180, meaning a $100 wager would profit $180.
Moneylines are also commonly used when making parlays, which are multiple bets tied into one. Let’s say you bet on UCLA's moneyline and the Over, both bets would need to win for that parlay to be successful. The risk may be greater, but so is the reward with increased odds. UCLA Player Props
There is no doubt that UCLA player props are one of the most fun ways to bet on the Bruins. These are bets on how much of a specific statistic a player will accumulate.
For example, you could bet on how many touchdown passes Iamaleva will throw in a game or bet over or under on RB Jalen Berger's rushing yards. Many skill position players (and some defenders) will have a variety of props available to bet on in each game.

UCLA Futures
Futures are somewhat similar to prop bets in the way both are monitored over the course of a season. However, most future bets are focused on end of season success. Examples of futures are:
- UCLA Bruins odds to win the Big Ten
- UCLA Bruins odds to reach the College Football Playoff
- UCLA Bruins odds to win the College Football Playoff
If you think the Bruins can make their first College Football Playoff or even win the CFP championship, this is the bet to make. These types of bets are called futures, and they're just wagers on things that settle at the end of the year. For a full list of college football futures, click or tap here.
