Akron Zips 2025 Season Preview

Lead by Joe Moorhead, the Akron Zips football ended the 2024 season 4-8 overall.

The former Oregon Ducks offensive coordinator will still have a lot of work to do as the Zips are toward the bottom of the MAC odds for the 2024-25 season. However, Akron is currently ineligible for postseason play, regardless of its final record, due to an insufficient Academic Progress Rate.

Here’s how you can bet on Akron this season, and some key things to know.

Betting on Akron

The minus (-) and plus (+) signs distinguish the favorite from the underdog, making Akron the underdog in this scenario. When Akron played Kent State, the total was listed at 39.5. If you bet the over, you need the game to have 40+ total points. If you bet the under, you need 39 points or fewer.

With a 31-27 win for the Zips, the over hit in this game. In this case, let’s say you bet $110 on the over. Then, you won $100.
