This article contains predictions for an old game.

The Golden State Warriors (7-1) visit the Cleveland Cavaliers (9-0) in the NBA this Friday, which is set to tip off at 7:30 p.m. from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. The game will be broadcast on NBA League Pass.

The Cavaliers are 4.5-point home favorites over the Warriors on the spread (Cavs -4.5), with the over/under currently at 230.5 points. The Cavs are -190 favorites on the moneyline to win outright, while Golden State is +155 to pull off the upset.

Let's dive into my Warriors vs. Cavaliers predictions and my NBA picks for Friday, November 8.

Warriors vs Cavaliers Picks, Predictions

Moneyline

My Cavaliers vs. Warriors best bet is on the Warriors moneyline. The best line is available at BetMGM, but make sure to find the best odds by checking our live NBA odds page.

Spread

I think there's some value in the Warriors to cover the spread, but I am betting them on the moneyline instead.

Over/Under

Pass.

Warriors vs. Cavaliers Preview

The Warriors and the Cavaliers are two of the hottest teams in the NBA. Both teams are dealing with some illnesses, Dean Wade (Cavs) and Brandin Podziemski (Warriors) are both questionable. The Warriors also list Draymond Green (knee) and De'Anthony Melton (back) as questionable for this game.

The Cavaliers and the Warriors have won with balanced efforts on both the Offensive and Defensive sides of the ball. They are third and fourth in Adjusted Net Rating, with both teams having top-10 Offenses and Defenses. Interestingly enough, they have both played relatively soft schedules thus far, per Dunks and 3s.

Draymond Green's status is critically important for the Warriors' offense. The Warriors are scoring 8.78 more points per 100 possessions with him on the floor. His injury status is one to monitor, but he did play through the end of the game against the Boston Celtics.

Curry has continued to cook in these matchups against the Cavaliers. Over the past few seasons, he is averaging 33.2 points per game against them. While limiting 3-point opportunities, they allow their opponents to shoot 39.2% from beyond the arc, the fifth-worst mark in the league. I'll back Curry to exceed 24.5 points (-106 FD on Friday night).

Warriors vs. Cavaliers Prediction

This line currently has the Cavaliers as a 4.5-point home favorite. While they have played very well this season, the Warriors' sheer volume of 3s gives them some extra margin in this matchup and I lean toward the Warriors +4.5 and the Moneyline.

If I were constructing an SGP, I'd play some of the Warriors Moneyline, along with Curry 30+ points, given his history against the Cavaliers.

Best Bet: Steph Curry Over 24.5 Points (-125)
Same Game Parlay: Warriors ML, Curry 30+ Points (+460)
