Rockets vs Timberwolves Predictions

Spread

The Timberwolves are 3-4 in their last seven against the spread, and in general, I like Houston more.

Julius Randle is out, and I think this may benefit Minnesota has a fluidity to their offense. I'm conflicted here, so this is a pass for me.

Moneyline

Same rules apply here. I'm not leaning strong one way or another.

Over/Under

Don't have a strong lean here either. The number is 214.5. Without Randle, there should be more pace to Minnesota's offense, even against the Rockets.

It's Under-or-nothing spot for me, but I'd like to see this number climb first.

To the props we go.

My Pick: Amen Thompson Over 14.5 Rebounds + Assists

Rockets vs. Timberwolves Betting Prediction & SGP

Amen Thompson Over 14.5 Rebounds + Assists is a play I like here.

I'm back on this after hitting it a couple times recently. Thompson has gotten this in three straight games, and in five of his last eight. This is more to do about his rise to stardom, which seems strong, but it might be true in the future.

Thompson doesn't have the greatest matchup against Minnesota, but even with Alperen Sengun back in the lineup, Thompson has been able to have enough usage to showcase his playmaking, and he's a constant threat to get 10 or more boards, which he has averaged across his last 19 games.

On the Wolves side, I like Naz Reid Under 6.5 Rebounds. He went Under this number in six straight games before getting 10 last night. As a starter, he has two Unders and an Over.

With Sengun and Rudy Gobert, it's just going to be an uphill battle on the boards. He's not a tremendous rebounder, and Minnesota will need his stretchability to extend that Rockets defense.

Best Bet: Amen Thompson Over 14.5 Rebounds + Assists (+105)

Same Game Parlay Picks
