Suns vs Pistons NBA Preview

This will be the first time we see the Pistons all week. Seriously — they haven't played since Saturday.

Detroit is very well-rested coming off a home loss to the Clippers, in which they were short-handed and snapped a three-game winning streak.

Still, they're comfortably ahead of everyone else in the Eastern Conference right now following the Knicks' loss last night against the Kings.

The Pistons, at 28-10, have a shot at extending their lead at home against Phoenix, who just took an L to Miami two nights ago in a tough game.

The Suns have been quite good this year, and like Detroit, have won 3-of-4 heading into tonight.

On the injury front, the Pistons are expected to be fully loaded for the first time in a while. Jalen Duren (ankle), Isaiah Stewart (illness) and Tobias Harris (hip) are all expected to play.

Harris, in particular, is a big development, considering he's been out since December 30, and Duren since January 1.

Cade Cunningham, who missed two straight, is not listed on the injury report as of this morning.

The Suns have Devin Booker listed as questionable after injuring his ankle against the Heat on Tuesday. Nigel Hayes-Davis is also questionable. Royce O'Neale (biceps) is probable to play. Jalen Green (hamstring) and Jamaree Bouyea (concussion) remain out.

Suns vs Pistons Prediction, Betting Analysis

Jalen Duren is at 9.5 rebounds for his first game back in the lineup, and the lineup is justifiable — just a bit low to me.

I'll take him to grab 10 or more tonight against Phoenix.

Duren, before leaving his last appearance early due to an ankle injury, went over 9.5 boards in 5-of-7.

There's a possibility for a minutes restriction tonight, which is why you're getting 9.5, but I like the buy-low spot.

Pick: Jalen Duren Over 9.5 Rebounds (-123, DraftKings)
