Denver Nuggets vs Houston Rockets NBA Sunday Preview
So, it appears Houston doesn't plan resting anyone. At least not yet. The Rockets haven’t played starters since locking the 2-seed early last week. That’s a lot of off time. This is a good tune-up against a team that beat them the last time they saw them in Houston.
They also get to play a no-stakes-for-them spoiler against a team that needs this game badly. The Nuggets fall into the play-in with a loss in most scenarios; they clinch the 4th seed with a win.
And yet, Houston is playing everyone, so far. Maybe they play them first half to make a point. Maybe they play them full game. Denver has not been good on the road this season, just 10-15 ATS as a road favorite.
The best way to bet this is Rockets first half, but that’s currently not on board because the books know the deal. But I think grabbing the 9 is worth it.
