"This should be the Brandon Miller Show. He could take 25+ shots here."

That quote was from yesterday's Miller over 25.5 points writeup. Miller DID take 25 shots. And he DID dominate usage (38.7%). BUT, he shot 28% from the field and finished with 20 points. Frustrating.

I'm going back to Miller again tonight, given the role. He's taking tons of shots and playing a boatload of minutes for the Hornets. LaMelo Ball could return today, but the matchup makes up for it. Atlanta is 21st in defensive rating, 28th in points allowed, and 2nd in pace. It's an awesome spot for what should be an extremely concentrated offense.

If Ball happens to sit out, this number likely shoots up 3-4 points. If he plays, there's still plenty of value.

Pick: Brandon Miller Over 23.5 Points

Jared McCain has averaged 5.1 rebounds & assists this season, and that number jumps to 7.3 as a starter when he's averaged 36.3 minutes per game. The appeal for me is this is a tough matchup against the Pistons. Detroit allows the 2nd-fewest rebounds per game (40.9) and the 3rd-fewest assists per game (23.8).

The biggest variable is that Paul George is questionable for this game, although he did put in a full practice on Friday. Caleb Martin is also questionable and was only a partial participant in Friday's practice.

It's possible that even if George returns, he's on a minute restriction, but his return would be good news for us, as the RotoGrinders CourtIQ tool shows McCain sees a hit in his rebound and assist rates when playing alongside Paul George.

Pick: Jared McCain Under 8.5 Rebounds & Assists

Dereck Lively averages 7.1 rebounds per game on 13.9 chances and has only exceeded this line (8.5) in 40% of games this season.

Lively is facing Walker Kessler on the other side, who is an elite rebounding big. Couple that with the fact that Utah allows the fourth-fewest rebounds per game to their opponents, and this is not a great spot for him.

When he has lined up opposite Kessler, he has averaged just 5.6 rebounds per game. Earlier this season in the game against the Jazz, he only secured four boards, while Kessler dominated on the glass with 11.

I’ll grab Lively under 8.5 rebounds.

Pick: Dereck Lively Under 8.5 Rebounds
