Pacers vs. Knicks
Action PRO is projecting 7.98 points for Jose Alvarado is tonight's matchup against the Pacers, offering an 8.4% edge on his current points prop line of over/under 6.5, which is good enough to give the Over a B- grade in our database.

The Knicks acquired Alvarado from New Orleans at the trade deadline, and in the first game with his new team, he scored 12 points in 25 minutes of action in a 111-89 win over the Celtics — which is a decent uptick in playing time compared to his average of 21.9 minutes per game on the season, with all but one of those games being played as a member of the Pelicans.
Whether or not Alvarado will continue to see in an increased role relative to his time with New Orleans remains to be seen.
However, he only needs a little over half the amount of points that he scored last game in order to clear this line — and this should be a good matchup for him against a Pacers squad that ranks 11th in pace, 21st in defensive rating, and 24th in points allowed per game on the season.
Pick: Jose Alvarado Over 6.5 Points (-150)

Clippers vs. Rockets
By Joe Dellera
The Clippers are adjusting to life without both James Harden and Ivica Zubac, which impacts their offensive ceiling as well as their defense.
One player that I think we can take advantage of in this spot is Jabari Smith.
Jabari is averaging 13.6 points per game this season, but 17.3 over his last three.
Some of this has come from increased opportunities, as defenses have started to sag off of Amen Thompson.
While the Clippers don’t have the greatest defense, they do have two bigs that are primarily going to be playing drop coverage, which helps run that type of scheme against the Rockets.
Smith's ability to stretch the floor and score from within the mid-range makes him an effective target here.
Jabari has scored 18 and 16 in this matchup this season, and I expect him to continue his success against the Clippers tonight.
Pick: Jabari Smith Over 13.5 Points (-115)

Mavericks vs. Suns
Action PRO is projecting 6.97 points for Klay Thompson in tonight's matchup against the Suns, presenting a 23.3% edge against his current points prop line of over/under 8.5, which gives the Under an A+ grade in our database.

This one is pretty simple. Thompson has scored nine points or less in five of his last seven games, while falling short of seven points in four of those contests.
Klay has still popped a few times during that stretch, as he scored 19 points against the Spurs in his latest outing and 16 points against the Hornets in one of the other games since the start of his recent cold spell.
However, we feel comfortable backing the Under in this spot in a tough matchup against a Suns team that ranks 22nd in pace, 9th in defensive rating, and 5th in points allowed per game on the season.
Pick: Klay Thompson Under 8.5 Points (+100)

Spurs vs. Lakers
Action PRO is projecting 11.4 points for Luke Kennard in tonight's matchup against the Spurs, showing a massive 28.1% edge against his current points prop line of over/under 8.5, good for an A+ grade in our database.

After averaging 7.9 points on 20.5 minutes per game across 46 games for the Hawks this season, Kennard has averaged 8.5 points on 25 minutes per game in his first two outings with the Lakers.
Kennard scored 10 points in 26 minutes against the Warriors in his Lakers' debut. Then, he scored seven points in 24 minutes in a brutal matchup against the Thunder the following game.
Scoring points won't come much easier in tonight's matchup against a Spurs team that ranks 3rd in defensive rating and 7th in points allowed per game.
However, the uptick in playing time and overall usage since joining the Lakers is enough to warrant backing the Over in this spot.
Pick: Luke Kennard Over 8.5 Points (-110)
