The Los Angeles Lakers (36-21) will host the Los Angeles Clippers (32-26) in the NBA tonight. Tipoff is set for 10:00 p.m. ET at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The game will broadcast live on ESPN.

The Clippers are 4-point road favorites over the Lakers on the spread (Clippers -4), with the over/under set at 220.5 total points. The Clippers are -170 favorites to win outright, while the Lakers are +142 to pull off the upset.

Let's get to my Clippers vs. Lakers predictions and NBA picks for Friday, February 28.

Clippers vs Lakers Prediction, Picks

Spread

The Lakers have only had one back-to-back with Luka Doncic on the roster, although, he didn't play. They lost to the Hornets — dubiously, I might add — at home on February 19 and turned around to beat the Trail Blazers on the road less than 24 hours later.

Doncic sat on that second leg. And the Lakers (4-point favorites) covered with an eight-point victory.

The Clippers are 11-4 against the spread with a rest advantage. However, they haven't covered a game in five straight. I'm at least intrigued by Lakers +4.5 given the Clippers recent play, even with Doncic — who has been struggling — potentially sitting out due to "injury maintenance."

Moneyline

Lakers or nothing spot as nearly five-point dogs. Might be worth a sprinkle if you like them to cover.

Over/Under

Clippers games have actually gone over in eight of 12, yet the Lakers have played to five straight unders, which follows a stretch of seven of eight overs. No play on the total for me.

My Pick: Ivica Zubac Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds

Los Angeles Clippers vs Los Angeles Lakers NBA Preview

I just don't know how the Lakers are going stop Ivica Zubac, who I'm playing at over 26.5 points + rebounds. He's gotten this twice in three games against the Lakers this season, both against Anthony Davis. The Lakers no longer have Davis, of course.

Zubac didn't only get this over, he destroyed it in those two instances. Zubac had 22 and 19 on January 7 and 21 and 19 on January 19.

Zubac just had eight and 10 on February 4, but that seems further away from the norm, to me, given what we know about this matchup.

Plus, with the Lakers on the second of a back-to-back, it's hard not to like this that much more. He's gone over this line in five of his last eight games, and he's -104 to hit this prop on FanDuel tonight.

Zubac over 26.5 points + rebounds is the best bet based on his dominance against the Lakers. Without Anthony Davis, the Lakers lack a strong interior presence, making Zubac a clear mismatch.

The Lakers are also on a back-to-back, which hurts their defense and rebounding. Zubac thrives in slower, half-court games, and he has cleared this line in five of his last eight.

Clippers vs Lakers Best Bet

  • Ivica Zubac Over 26.5 points + Rebounds (-115)
