Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers NBA Monday Preview

The Sixers play the Bulls on Monday and appear to be at a crossroads with their season given the latest updates surrounding Joel Embiid’s knee.

I think it is highly unlikely that Embiid plays in this one with Joel and the team contemplating further opinions (see also, tanking).

When Embiid has sat, Kelly Oubre has been awesome for the Sixers.

Over his last 10 games without Embiid, he is averaging 27.8 Points + Rebounds (PR), and has hit this in 8/10.

This is a great matchup against Chicago as well.

The Bulls play at the third-fastest Pace in the league, and they surrender the second-most rebounds per game to their opponents.

Oubre has seen a significant bump to his Usage lately and he can score at every level effectively.

He has been a solid option for Philly, and with Maxey (Q) also on the injury report, it’s possible he sees an even greater share of the Usage than I’m currently projecting.

Best Bet: Kelly Oubre Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)

Bulls vs 76ers Same Game Parlay

By Kyle Murray

Tre Jones Under 3.5 Assists

Tre Jones has been a decent bench option for this Bulls team ever since they acquired him at the trade deadline, but this is a lofty line, as he projects for just 2.7 assists.

Jones will likely play in the range of 14-16 minutes, but he will almost never be the main ball-handler/playmaker on the floor, as the Bulls can and will stagger Josh Giddey and Coby White.

Jones has no more than 3 assists in a game as a Bull this season, and if this game is real competitive, he could even find himself playing fewer than 14 minutes.

Josh Giddey Over 7.5 Rebounds

Josh Giddey projects for north of 9 rebounds tonight, as he continues to see more minutes thanks to the injuries and trades for the Bulls.

However, Giddey has also seen an increase in his per-minute rebounding efficiency with Zach LaVine and Ayo Dosunmu off the floor.

I'll back him to grab 8+ Rebounds in this one.

Bulls vs 76ers Parlay Picks

  • Kelly Oubre Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds
  • Josh Giddey Over 7.5 Rebounds
  • Tre Jones Under 3.5 Assists

Parlay Payout: +390
