The 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season finally gets underway with Wednesday's Cook Out Clash (6 p.m. ET, FOX) at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Well, that's assuming the updated NASCAR weather forecast cooperates.

NASCAR has already postponed the Clash from Sunday to Monday, then from Monday to Wednesday due to Winter Storm Gianna, and might have to deal with the rain again tonight.

Here's the latest NASCAR weather forecast for Wednesday's Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray, including just how wet it'll be in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Updated NASCAR Weather Forecast for Cook Out Clash

*Forecast updated Wednesday at 4:12 p.m. ET

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will dip into the mid-20s tonight in Winston-Salem with a 40% chance of rain and/or snow.

The hourly breakdown shows a 25% chance of precipitation at 6 p.m. ET — the scheduled start time for the Cook Out Clash — which then increases to 36% at 8 p.m. ET and to 40% at 11 p.m. ET.

In addition, temperatures will remain above freezing until 11 p.m. ET, so snow should not impact the Cook Out Clash assuming this forecast stays true.

It's important to note that NASCAR does have rain tires for Wednesday's Clash, though those are only available for damp conditions and cannot be used while it's raining steadily.

Live NASCAR odds at bet365 list Kyle Larson and William Byron as race co-favorites at +325, followed by Christopher Bell (+700) and Denny Hamlin (+750).
