Simon Hunter
Experience
Simon first started betting on sports in high school. While working on a reality TV show filming in Las Vegas as a college student, he decided to make sports betting his career.
Simon began refining his own craft while working as an independent runner for professional bettors, living off-and-on in Las Vegas for seven years until moving back to New Jersey in 2018 when Gov. Phil Murphy signed the state’s sports betting bill into law.
Simon joined the Action Network in 2019 after reaching out to Chad Millman about how he could help the company’s Chief Content Officer improve his picks on NFL spreads and totals on The Favorites podcast.
Education
Simon spent one year at West Virginia University before dropping out to work for a production company that produced popular reality TV series’ such as "The Jersey Shore."
While working on a 2011 show filming in Las Vegas, Simon was introduced to the sports betting lifestyle and met the man who would eventually hire him to be a runner for his syndicate. Simon calls that experience “10 years of the best sports betting education one could ask for.”
