Betting Highlights
Favorite Bet of All-Time
I got bored in an airport once, so I looked at the entire college basketball slate, and went to make a parlay of seven outright winners – there were two underdogs, it wasn't just favorites before anyone asks – and all seven of them hit while I was on the plane.
Most Heartbreaking Bet
On opening night of the NBA season, I had a +800-ish 3-leg SGP and cashed it out because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had something like 15 points with 4 minutes left, and I needed him to score over 29.5 points. The game went to 2OT, and Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 23 in regulation, but 12 more in OT to get to 35. Terrible cashout by me.
