Evan Abrams

Evan Abrams is the Action Network’s director of research, using his knowledge of sports betting history to provide relevant notes and nuggets for sports events throughout the year, including during the NFL season, Super Bowl, NCAA Tournament, and more. 

Evan’s weekly NFL Betting Primer has become a staple of Action’s NFL coverage and a must-read for NFL bettors. He’s also a regular contributor to Green Dot Daily, Action Network’s daily (M-F) sports betting show, which airs live at 3 p.m. ET on YouTube.

Between social, live video, betting research and content, Evan has run many facets of the Action Network’s business since joining the company in 2018.

Evan started betting more than 15 years ago, and got his first job in the sports betting media industry in 2012. Prior to joining Action, he worked for ESPN, Bloomberg, and the NBA.

Evan was born and raised in New York City, but he solely roots for teams who cover. His fears include bullpens, quicksand, and stoppage time.

Evan began his career in Las Vegas soon after college, which brought him to betting company Don Best Sports.

Evan graduated from Indiana University with a degree in sports communication and broadcast.
