Education
Carlos graduated from UCAB (Caracas, Venezuela) with a degree in journalism and a minor in audiovisual arts. He also has a master's degree in creative writing from UNTREF (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and completed a FIFA/CIES Programme in Sports Management at UNIMET (Caracas, Venezuela).
Experience
Carlos also writes soccer betting previews and prediction market content for Action Network. He began his career covering baseball, basketball and tennis before becoming a full-time soccer writer for newspapers El Nacional and Lider, where he attended and covered three World Cups (2006, 2010, 2014), two Copa America (2007, 2011), two Euro Championships (2008, 2012) and two Champions League Finals (2011, 2012), among other tournaments. In 2016, he moved with his wife to Argentina, where they enjoy the best steaks in the world.
