Toronto Raptors 2023-24 Season
The 2023-2024 NBA season holds great promise for the Toronto Raptors, with Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby leading the charge. Siakam, an All-Star and cornerstone of the team, is expected to continue his impressive play, both as a scorer and a playmaker. His versatility on the court is crucial for the Raptors' success.
OG Anunoby, known for his defensive prowess and improving offensive game, adds to the team's strength. His development into a two-way force is a key factor in the Raptors' aspirations for a deep playoff run.
With a blend of experienced players and emerging talents, the Raptors are poised to be strong contenders in the Eastern Conference. The season ahead promises excitement and potential success as they aim to bring another NBA championship to Toronto.

Raptors Moneylines
If betting on the margin of victory isn’t your thing, betting on the moneyline might be for you. Whereas a bet on the point spread requires the favored team to win by a certain amount or an underdog to keep a loss close, the moneyline is simply a bet on who will win. As with point spreads, the favored team has a minus sign (-) next to their odds, while the underdog is indicated with a plus sign (+).
Let’s stick with that Milwaukee-Toronto example:
- Milwaukee Bucks +135
- Toronto Raptors -160
The moneyline odds listed above are written in American odds format. These odds are always tied to the point spread, so a bigger spread means longer odds on the moneyline. In this case, it would require a $160 bet on the favored Raptors to win $100, while a $100 wager on the underdog Bucks would net $135.
Raptors Spreads
Point spreads are bets made on the margin of victory in the game.
Let’s use an example:
- Milwaukee Bucks (+2.5)
- Toronto Raptors (-2.5)
We can tell the Raptors are the favored team because their point spread is tagged with a minus sign (-), while the Bucks are denoted as the underdog with a plus sign (+). This point spread bet is asking bettors if they believe the Raptors will win by three or more points: If you do, a bet on the Raptors would cash on a Toronto victory of three-plus points, while Bucks bettors would win if Milwaukee were to win outright or lose by just a point or two.
Raptors Over/Unders
There’s also an easy way to bet on Raptors games that doesn’t involve betting them to win or lose by any number of points. Over/unders, also referred to as totals, are bets on the number of points both teams combine to score. Raptors overs have hit at a 31-26 record this season.
If the total for a game was 228 points, over bettors would need more points than that to cash their ticket, while the under would win if fewer points were scored. In the event of an exact tie (228 points on the dot in this case), wagers on the total would “push” and all bettors would be refunded their initial wager.
Raptors Props
If fantasy sports are your favorite way of getting action on the game, prop bets are the easiest way to dip your toes in the sports betting waters. Unlike the bets mentioned previously, prop bets rarely have anything to do with the direct outcome of the game and are instead focused on individual stat lines or particular events during the game. Some prop bets are simple yes/no questions like “will the game go to overtime?” Others are over/unders for player stats, such as betting Pascal Siakam to have over 17.5 points in a game. Many sportsbooks allow you to combine prop bets in a same-game parlay, so always shop for the best odds and offers with our sportsbook reviews.
Raptors Futures
Expectations will continue to be high in Toronto after the team won its first NBA championship in 2019, so bettors will have to shop for the best line to get good odds on Raptors futures bets. Futures are bets that focus on long-term outcomes, like the Raptors to make the playoffs, win the Atlantic Division, win the Eastern Conference, win the NBA Finals, or even individual awards like Pascal Siakam winning league MVP.
How to Bet on the Raptors
Single-game sports betting in Canada became legal in August 2021, as provinces now can regulate and tax wagering. Provinces will be able to regulate sports betting much in the same way as U.S. states do individually.
