Although Lopez isn't a big strikeout rate guy, he's relatively efficient with his pitches due to a low walk rate, which allows him to go deep in games. Orioles' active roster has a 23.3% strikeout rate against righties this year. Pitchers projected in a range similar to Lopez for me have gone over 5.5 strikeouts 59.5% of the time, clearing the implied odds of 56.9% at -132.

in the alt. market on FanDuel. Liberatore has been increasing his curve usage in recent starts, which has allowed him to get more whiffs against righties. He had seven strikeouts against the Pirates earlier this year, and their active roster has a 24.7% strikeout rate against lefties since the start of last year.

Springs has gotten to this mark just once this year -- but it came against the Mariners in his first start. They've still flashed some struggles against lefties with a 25.7% strikeout rate on the active roster, and it's above average at 23.0% when you include last year's data, as well. That should help Springs tap back into his higher-strikeout ways he flashed both last year and prior to his injury.
