Justin Jefferson Anytime Touchdown (+145)
Justin Jefferson only has one touchdown this season, but he should see plenty of targets tonight against the Chargers.
Jefferson's had at least 10 targets in each of his last three games, and he’s the only Vikings receiver running 90% of routes in the red zone.
In addition to that, Jefferson leads the Vikings in targets per route run (TPRR) and yards per route run (YPRR) versus zone coverage, the latter of which should play well against a Chargers team that has utilized zone defense at top-seven rate this season.
I hate to use the term “he’s due” for touchdown betting, but when it comes to guys like Jefferson, it’s only a matter of time.
Pick: Justin Jefferson Anytime TD (+145)
Jordan Addison Anytime Touchdown (+200)
On the other side of Jefferson is Jordan Addison, who picked up 12 targets in Week 7. Addison has 26 targets in his three games since returning from suspension.
Like Jefferson, Addison only has one touchdown this season, but he has shown touchdown pedigree in his short career, having reached the end zone 10 times in each of the last two seasons. He almost notched his second touchdown of the season last week against the Eagles.
Look for the Vikings to target Addison and Jefferson in the end zone, especially on deep throws. Both receivers have a huge aDOT vs. zone coverage.
