Super Bowl 56 Bets: Largest & Most Interesting Wagers, Including Eagles & Lions

It should come as no surprise that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the most popular bet among the big Super Bowl futures bets that have come in at sportsbooks across the country.
Of the top bets aggregated by The Action Network, nearly half are on the Buccaneers, including $30,000 and $25,000 bets on the Bucs, at +700 and +800 respectively, at BetMGM.
The biggest bet on the Kansas City Chiefs, who are the favorites to win it all along with Tampa Bay, is $20,000 at +550.
Three teams in the chart below feature payouts of $400,000 or more. The Washington Football Team has a bet of $8,000 to win $400,000 at +5000 odds. A bettor at DraftKings is taking Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers for $9,000, which at +4500 would pay out $405,000.
Two big bets are on Bill Belichick's Patriots despite starting a rookie quarterback in Mac Jones. One bet will pay out just shy of $400,000 with another hitting $400,000 exactly.
The Bills, another team near the top of oddsboards, has the fifth-largest reported bet. A bettor at put down $17,000 at Caesars to win $187,000.

There are also some bettors who have taken some significant flyers on long shots.
The biggest reported single payout will come if the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl. At BetMGM, a $4,000 bet will pay out a half-million dollars. Out of all the longshots we collected information on, the Eagles represent the biggest payouts.
And of course there's someone taking a chance on the +25000 for $500. That's worth $125,000 if Detroit can win it all. The Lions open the season as a 7.5-point underdog against the San Francisco 49ers.
