The Golden State Warriors had a chance to advance to the playoffs on the final day of the regular season, but fell to the Clippers 124-119 in overtime. They can still secure a first round date with the Rockets, but will need to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies at home as well as overcome their Play-In Tournament history.
The Warriors are 0-3 in the NBA Play-In Tournament, including a loss to the Grizzlies. They are 7.5-point home favorites with a total of 230.5 points in tonight's matchup. The last meeting between these teams soared over 230 points and with Ja Morant and Stephen Curry leading the way, tonight's game may be high-scoring as well.
Continue below for my NBA same game parlay picks for Grizzles vs. Warriors on Tuesday, April 15.
Grizzlies vs. Warriors Parlay for Tuesday, April 15
- Stephen Curry Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
- Ja Morant 25+ Points
- Brandin Podziemski 6+ Rebounds
Parlay Payout: +305 via DraftKings
Stephen Curry entered Sunday's game questionable with a thumb injury, but you knew it would not be one that he would miss. He finished with 36 points, three rebounds, and six assists on 10-for-20 from the field and 7-for-12 from three. Curry has now recorded at least 40 PRA in six of his last 10 games.
In his last game against the Grizzlies, Curry had one of the best games of his career with 52 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Now, I would not expect 70 PRA again tonight, but it is not out of the question that Curry goes over this line with just his scoring. He has three 40-point games this season as well as four games with at least 36 points in April.
Curry has also averaged 5.3 rebounds and 5.9 assists in April, with at least five assists in nine of his last 10 games. Memphis also led the league in pace during the regular season. While the game slows down in the playoffs, I don't anticipate Memphis changing its style too much. The extra possessions will give Curry more opportunities to clear this line as he has done in six of his last 10 games.
Pick: Stephen Curry Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
If there is one team that Ja Morant loves to face, it is the Golden State Warriors. In 13 career games against the Warriors, Morant is averaging 22 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. In his last 10 games against them, he has scored 25 points in eight of them. That includes three consecutive games of 34 points in the 2022 Western Conference Semifinals.
Morant is entering the Play-In Tournament playing at his best this season as well. Since March 5th, he is averaging 29.8 points in 13 games. He has scored 25 in 10 games in that span, including 36 in his last game against Golden State.
The Warriors finished seventh in defensive rating this season. However, they are playing small ball with Draymond Green at center and ranked 17th in blocks. Their lack of rim protection benefits a guard like Morant that likes to operate in the paint. It should also help Morant get 25 points tonight as well as the second leg of this parlay.
