The Memphis Grizzlies (23-39) will visit the Brooklyn Nets (16-47) in the NBA on Monday night. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The game will broadcast live on YES and NBA League Pass.

The Grizzlies are 1.5-point favorites over the Nets on the spread (Grizzlies -1.5), with the over/under set at 220.5 total points. Memphis is a -120 favorite to win outright on the moneyline, while Brooklyn is +100 to pull off the upset.

Let's get into my Grizzlies vs. Nets predictions and NBA picks for Monday, March 9.

Grizzlies vs Nets NBA Monday Preview

Let's just dive straight into the injury reports for tonight's matchup between the Nets and the Grizzlies, because this may take a while.

Here's the report for the Nets:

Michael Porter Jr. (rest) and Egor Demin (foot) were out. Ben Saraf (back) is probable to play.

Now, for the Grizzlies:

Out: Ja Morant (elbow), Zack Edey (ankle), Santi Aldama (knee), Brandon Clarke (calf), Taj Gibson (reconditioning), and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (pinky).

Doubtful: Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe), Ty Jerome (calf), Cedric Coward (knee), and Taylor Hendricks (thumb).

Grizzlies vs Nets Betting Predictions

Day'Ron Sharpe and Nic Claxton should be in prime position to produce against the Grizzlies tonight, but I like Day'Ron's upside a tad more.

Sharpe has gone over 17.5 Points & Rebounds in 5-of-7 games without MPJ, averaging over 20 minutes during that stretch.

The Grizzlies have no centers left; none.

GG Jackson doesn't typically rebound like a true center, and he will handle a healthy amount of frontcourt minutes.

Neither does Olivier-Maxence Prosper, who typically doesn't play center either.

Grizzlies vs Nets Best Bet

  • Day'Ron Sharpe Over 17.5 Points & Rebounds (-115)
