Braves Home Run Pick: Ronald Acuña Jr. (+330)

I'm going heavy on the Braves righties today.

Angels pitcher Yusei Kikuchi has been an absolute gas can for righty power in his career, and although he's having a great year, he's due for some negative regression with a HR/FB rate lower than league average and drastically lower than his career average.

Kikuchi is still giving up an above-average number of home runs to righties this season, sitting at 1.33 HR/9.

The ballpark is also an upgrade for power compared to Los Angeles, and the weather is good today with temperatures in the 80s, high humidity and wind blowing out at 6 MPH.

Acuña has been one of the best hitters in the league since coming back from his injury, and I have his true odds around 50 points lower, making this a good EV bet.

Pick: Ronald Acuña Jr. Over 0.5 HRs (+330)

Braves Home Run Pick: Austin Riley (+360)

A lot of this still hinges on Braves righties and Kikuchi being due for negative regression for some home runs. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the weather and stadium give us an extra edge in this particular game.

Riley is having a down year, but the underlying numbers have been similar to years past, so there's no reason to believe this will continue. I have the true odds around +300 on Riley today, making this a great EV bet.

Pick: Austin Riley Over 0.5 HRs (+360)
