Eagles vs Jets Preview, Prediction Tonight
The Jets and Eagles will meet for a familiar final game of the NFL preseason. Both Nick Sirianni and Aaron Glenn announced that the starters will not be playing on Friday Night.
The Eagles will be without their backup quarterback, Tanner McKee, who is battling a finger injury. This will force Dorian Thompson-Robinson and rookie Kyle McCord into action.
I think Philly will struggle to move the football on offense and will employ a vanilla game plan that emphasizes keeping the ball on the ground and churning clock.
The Jets will be without their backup signal caller as Tyrod Taylor underwent knee surgery. New York will hand the keys back to backups Adrian Martinez and rookie Brady Cook.
Martinez and Cook have not impressed in the preseason; I expect both to be below average in this matchup.
My Pick: Under 34.5
Spread
I won't be making any bets on the spread.
Moneyline
I'm also staying away from either side of the moneyline.
Over/Under
I expect teams to fall below the Under in this game
