Amazon has signed DraftKings to a multiyear partnership, making the sports betting app the exclusive odds provider for Thursday Night Football broadcasts on Prime Video.

Starting this Thursday, Sept. 15, when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers, all 15 TNF football games of the 2022 NFL season will feature DraftKings content, including odds and player props during Prime’s live pregame show.

The partnership, announced Tuesday morning, comes after Amazon reached a $13 billion deal with the NFL for exclusive rights to broadcast Thursday Night Football over the next 11 years.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with DraftKings to bring fans more insights and excitement as part of the TNF viewing experience,” Danielle Carney, Head of NFL Sales, Amazon Ads said in a press release. “DraftKings content will contribute to lively pregame discussions, fan engagement and, perhaps, some bold predictions from our on-air talent.”

Amazon's TNF football pregame crew features prominent names such as Charissa Thompson, Richard Sherman and Ryan Fitzpatrick. They'll be encouraged to incorporate betting-style analysis in their game predictions. It's another major step forward for gambling, as Vegas looks to integrate into traditional sports media.

DraftKings' chief competitor, FanDuel went live this month with its own betting-centric 24/7 sports TV network, featuring prominent names such as Pat McAfee, who'd previously been linked to Amazon's TNF broadcast.

Earlier this week geolocation service provider GeoComply reported the most sports betting app logins ever for an NFL opening weekend.

“The NFL season is the most active time of year for our customers, so collaborating with one of the world's leading technology brands in order to offer engaging content to viewers of TNF on Prime Video is a tremendous opportunity for DraftKings,” said Stephanie Sherman, Chief Marketing Officer of DraftKings.
