Angels vs. Pirates
The Angels and Pirates kick off the Wednesday slate with the conclusion of their interleague series at PNC Park. The Angels are turning to an intriguing arm in right-hander Jose Soriano in the rubber match — our D.J. James believes he'll be key in the Halos pulling off the upset.
Blue Jays vs. Phillies
The Phillies are rolling — they've won seven straight games and 11 of their last 12. The Blue Jays, on the other hand, continue to flounder and sit in last place in the AL East.
It's a mismatch on paper, but MLB betting expert John Feltman makes the case for backing Toronto over the first five (F5) innings on the run line.
Padres vs. Cubs
A pitchers' duel could be on tap at Wrigley Field as Dylan Cease of the Padres takes on Hayden Wesneski of the Cubs. Cease owns the eighth-best ERA in the NL at 2.55 while Wesneski has a minuscule 0.87 ERA over two starts spanning 10 1/3 innings.
Dodgers vs. Marlins
What's there to say about this? The Dodgers are very good and the Marlins are quite bad.
