2022 French Open Odds, Market Report: Bettors Liking Nadal & Swiatek’s Chances of Roland Garros Glory

If public betting is any indication, bettors are expecting to see some familiar faces take home French Open titles in two weeks' time.
On the women's side of the action, 2020 French Open champion Iga Swiatek is commanding a whopping 72% of the handle on 45% of the futures tickets at BetMGM.
Over at FanDuel, Swiatek is currently attracting 30% of the betting tickets and 86% of the handle, indicating the biggest bettors are putting their money down on the world No. 1.
Swiatek is currently on a 28-match winning streak and has won each of the past five tournaments that she's played. It's no surprise to see her receiving this action and it's caused BetMGM to move its opening line from months ago of +450 all the way down to -115.
13-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal is dominating the action for the men's futures market, amassing the highest portion of tickets and handle at BetMGM and the second-highest portion of tickets and handle at FanDuel.
Madrid Open champion and rising star Carlos Alcaraz is the public's second choice for the title. Nadal has had his odds move from +165 to +450 due to the emergence of Alcaraz, the resurgence of Novak Djokovic and his chronic foot injury, which caused him issues in Rome.
As it stands, Djokovic is the favorite to win his third Roland Garros title at +200, but Alcaraz is right behind him at +225.
Stefanos Tsitsipas, the man who was a set away from winning his first Grand Slam title in Paris last year, doesn't represent a real liability for books, though his price has shortened from +1000 to +450 since a remarkably favorable draw opened his path to the final.
