Lions’ D’Andre Swift Injury: Jamaal Williams Likely To Nab Carries v. Packers

Detroit Lions starting running back D'Andre Swift has been ruled as questionable for their Monday Night Football game against the Green Bay Packers scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET.
Swift had been limited this week at practice due to a groin injury that has plagued him since August.
The 22-year-old former second-round pick out of the University of Georgia had missed all of the preseason as a result of the injury.
Swift did not make the start when the Lions lost to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1 but eventually led Detroit in rushes and pass targets with 11 each. He played 63 total snaps that game.
His backup, Jamaal Williams, recorded a total of 110 yards over 32 snaps.
Expect Williams to nab a similar amount of snaps this week for the Lions' game against the Packers.
Still, Swift finished that game with 104 total yards and got in the end zone on a 43-yard catch during that Week 1 game.
Swift is currently the 17th-best running back according to The Action Network's rankings for Week 2. Williams is ranked 32nd overall in those same rankings.
The Lions are currently 12.5-point underdogs against the Packers at DraftKings.
Detroit are 12-point underdogs at FanDuel while they're just 11.5-point underdogs at PointsBet.
About 64% of the money is on the Packers -11.5 at BetMGM.
FanDuel slates the Lions at +480 on the moneyline, with DraftKings listing Detroit at +475 and PointsBet at +410.
Roughly 65% of the money is on the Packers moneyline at -650 at BetMGM.
The total for the game at DraftKings is 49 with FanDuel listing it at 48.5 (-108) and PointsBet also at 48.5 but with a -115 juice.
About 69% of the money is on the over (48) at BetMGM.
