Friday NBA Player Props: Bet On Andrew Wiggins, Luka Doncic In Mavs vs. Warriors Game 2 (May 20)

Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals tips off on Friday night. The Dallas Mavericks are looking to even the series and there are a few players I am targeting via player props for this game.

We'll be using the Action Labs Player Prop tool to compare our NBA projections to the props posted at a variety of sportsbooks. Below, I have laid out two prop bets that I'm playing, the case for each bet and the best books to find odds on those player props.

Friday NBA Player Props

Andrew Wiggins, Over 15.5 Points (-118)

Andrew Wiggins was key for the Warriors in Game 1 and will be pivotal throughout the series. Wiggins was outstanding on the defensive end of the court for the Warriors and contributed on the offensive as well.

In fact, Wiggins scored 19 points in Game 1 for Golden State. Furthermore, Wiggins has scored at least 16 points in six out of the Warriors past seven postseason games. There is going to be an effort from the Dallas Mavericks defense to slow down Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, which will open the opportunity for Wiggins to score.

During the regular season, Wiggins scored 16 or more points in three out of the four matchups against the Mavericks. With the attention focused on Curry and Thompson I expect Wiggins to get open looks and opportunities to attack the basket.

Luka Doncic, Over 9.5 Rebounds (-110)

The underrated part of Luka Doncic's game is his ability to rebound. One of the reasons Luka is able to rebound the basketball at high rate is because Dallas doesn't have a consistent rebounder or a traditional big man to grab rebounds.

Doncic is averaging 9.8 rebounds per game in the postseason. However, he has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in three of the past four postseason games and in seven of 11 overall. During the regular season Doncic grabbed at least 10 rebounds in two of the four games against the Warriors.

With the fast pace and small-ball lineup the Warriors love to use there will be plenty of opportunities to rebound and Doncic, throughout his young career, has shown he's more than capable of grabbing his fair share.
