NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (January 27): LeBron James Out, Anthony Davis Probable Thursday

NBA Injury News

6 p.m. ET Update: LeBron James has been ruled out of tonight's game with knee soreness. Anthony Davis has been cleared to play.

The Los Angeles Lakers have listed LeBron James as questionable ahead of their game in Philadelphia against the 76ers. The Lakers are playing in their fourth straight road game and play the second leg of a back-to-back set on Friday in Charlotte. According to Mike Trudell, James "left the floor after just a few minutes of light shooting," during warmups.

On the flip side, the 76ers hope to have Danny Green and Tobias Harris (both questionable) in the lineup. Harris has been dealing with a non-COVID illness and Green has a sore hip, but the latter is expected to play.

In the late game, Patrick Beverley's status has been downgraded to doubtful and he is expected to miss tonight's game agains the Golden State Warriors. Jaylen Nowell is probable with a sore back.
