It took all of one NBA Summer League game to force a shift in 2022-23 Rookie of the Year odds thanks to Chet Holmgren.

The No. 2 overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder stood out on Tuesday night, scoring 23 points with seven rebounds, six blocks and four assists. His six blocks is a Summer League record. He added four 3s in Oklahoma City's 98-77 win over the Utah Jazz.

That was enough to make Holmgren the new betting favorite to win Rookie of the Year at some sportsbooks. He's the favorite at FanDuel, where he moved from +500 to +360. That puts him ahead of No. 1 overall pick Paolo Banchero, who is +440.

At Caesars, Holmgren dropped to +375 from his +550 number ahead of the NBA draft. He still trails Banchero there at +350.

Banchero has yet to debut for the Magic.

Fellow lottery pick Keegan Murray (+900) has performed well in the early going, scoring 24 points in his most recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Bettors at BetMGM have taken notice, as Murray is third on the list of biggest liabilities.

Holmgren is second with the most money coming in on him. However, the biggest liability is Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey. Over 37% of bets are on Ivey, the rookie out of Purdue.

Ivey remains +600 at BetMGM.

Other movement includes Banchero lengthening from +300 to +350, Jalen Duren dropping from +4000 to +3000 and Nikola Jovic dropping to +6600 from +9000.
